Why we ask this
The Shops & Establishments Act regulates working hours, weekly off, leave entitlement, and basic conditions at any commercial premises — office, shop, or storefront. The Maharashtra Intimation track (lifetime validity, no renewal) applies to establishments with fewer than 20 workers. State and worker count are the only two qualifiers.
