Why this firm exists
In every old Indian city, there is a Practising Company Secretary who has signed the same families' filings for thirty years.
You know the kind of firm. A small office above a sari shop, or in a converted bungalow on a side lane. A brass nameplate. A senior CS who has drafted every board resolution and lodged every annual return since 1996. The work is exact, and when the ROC raises a query, he replies the same afternoon. His clients are the textile mill owned by three brothers, the trust that runs the city's oldest school, the diagnostic centre that's been there for two generations, and the engineering company a college classmate incorporated in 1998. He's never advertised. He's never had to. When the son takes over, the Company Secretary stays.
That kind of firm has only ever existed within walking distance.
The founder in Indore, or Coimbatore, or Lucknow, who's starting their first private limited and doesn't already know a Company Secretary by name, has no equivalent to walk into. I built this firm for them.
I'm Bhargav Rajurkar, a Practising Company Secretary in Pune. This firm is of the older kind. I sign every filing on your case, and I stay on it year after year. I'm there on day one of your incorporation, in year three when you raise capital, and in year nine when you exit. What's new is only the door. The firm behind it is the same. The portal lets a founder anywhere in India hire the same kind of firm the manufacturer in Pune and the school trust in Nagpur have always walked into.
The portal isn't the firm. It's just the door.
