Why we ask this
A change to a partnership firm — admission or retirement of a partner, profit-sharing shift, contribution change, address change, or activity change — is recorded through a supplementary deed, stamped under the state Stamp Act on the new value and notarised. If the firm is registered with the Registrar of Firms, Form A (or the state-equivalent intimation) is then filed to update the public record. Each state runs its own RoF procedure, so the exact filing and fee schedule are state-specific.
