Why we ask this
A change in designated partners, admission, retirement, or a change in designation, is reported on Form 4 within 30 days of the event. If the LLP agreement clauses themselves need to be rewritten (because contribution, profit-share, or designation language is changing beyond the partner roster), a supplementary deed is executed and Form 3 is filed alongside. Per-day additional fees apply on delay, so the timing is what sets the urgency.
